Essential Dog Collars and Harnesses for City Walking

I quickly learned that the standard leash and collar combo just doesn't cut it. Urban walking demands specialized equipment, and here's why it matters to me:

• Quick-Response Safety: When we're on city sidewalks and dealing with crosswalks and cars, I need gear that gives me strong, immediate control and allows for a lightning-fast response if something unexpected happens.

• Check the Fit! I check the harness straps about once a month. Weather, weight changes, and just daily wear can make them loosen up. A snug (but not tight!) fit is vital for safety.

• Even if I only might be walking in the dark, I use my reflective gear. It's not just safe, it's the smartest thing you can do in a busy environment.
